Dear Parents, Guardians, Family Members and Friends
I am delighted to welcome you to St. Andrew’s International Primary School (SAIPS) in Blantyre, Malawi.
Founded in 1938, SAIPS is one of the oldest international schools in the country, with a proud legacy of providing high-quality British-style education in a warm, inclusive and nurturing environment. For over 85 years, we have been committed to developing confident, compassionate, and globally minded young people who are prepared for success in an ever-changing world.
At SAIPS we follow the British National Curriculum, enhanced with elements of international best practice and the Cambridge Primary Curriculum. Our approach is child-centred, enquiry-based and holistic, focusing on academic excellence alongside personal, social, emotional and creative development.
Small class sizes, highly qualified teachers, and a diverse student body from over 21 nationalities create a rich, supportive learning community where every child is known, valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
Our campus is a special place — modern classrooms, extensive sports facilities, two swimming pools, a school farm, Forest School area, and boarding provision — all set in beautiful, secure grounds.
