ICT, AI & Robotics

Not just using technology — understanding it, coding it and building with it.

Future-ready learning

Computing from Reception to Year 6

Every class at SAIPS follows a dedicated ICT & AI (Computing) programme that pairs classroom theory with hands-on, practical coding and robotics every week.

Children learn to think computationally: breaking problems down, spotting patterns, designing algorithms and debugging their work. They leave SAIPS not just knowing how to use technology, but how to create with it.

Digital learning at SAIPS

What pupils learn

A progressive programme

Early Years & KS1

Sequencing, simple algorithms and floor robots; using devices safely and confidently.

Coding

Block-based programming growing into more complex projects, games and animations.

Robotics

Building and programming models that sense and respond to the world around them.

AI Studies (KS2)

Demystifying artificial intelligence: using AI as a creative and analytical tool and exploring its ethical implications.

Digital literacy & safety

Responsible, safe and respectful behaviour online, and evaluating information critically.
