Wellbeing & Learning Support
Happy children learn best. Supporting every child to thrive.
Every child known, cared for and supported
“When children feel safe, valued and understood, they are free to flourish.”
At SAIPS, wellbeing is not an add-on — it sits alongside academic ambition in everything we do. Our Wellbeing & Learning Support team works with teachers and families to make sure every child has what they need to be happy, secure and successful.
Some children need extra stretch, some need extra support, and many need a little of both at different times. We get to know each child well, identify needs early and put the right help in place, always in partnership with parents.
Our approach
Pastoral care
Class teachers and the wellbeing team keep a close eye on each child’s happiness, friendships and confidence.
Learning support
Tailored support and targeted interventions for pupils who need help to access the curriculum or to catch up.
Stretch and challenge
Opportunities for more able learners to go deeper, informed by CAT4 and GL Assessment data.
Working with families
Regular communication and shared plans so that home and school pull in the same direction.
